Lincoln Leadership Academy would like to thank all of our boys and girls basketball teams for an OUTSTANDING 2011-12 basketball season. Our Lincoln HS boys finished the regular season with an 11-11 record. The boys have qualified for the District XI playoffs in their first season of PIAA competition. Both Xavier Romero and Taaj Williams will finish in the TOP 25 scoring list for all schools in the Lehigh Valley. The boys' playoff opponent will be revealed over the next few days as other schools finalize postponed games. We'd like to thank all of the players and coaching staff for a great season. However, they are not finished yet. Please come out and support the boys as they travel on the journey to win the entire district XI playoff bracket.
We'd also like to congratulate the Lincoln MS boys and coaching staff for an exciting 2011-12 season. The middle school boys finished with 20 wins / 1 loss.
On the girls side of things, we'd like to say thanks to all the girls and coaching staff for their spirit, determination and heart. The high school girls started the season slow but showed amazing improvement as the season progressed. The high school girls finished with an overall record of 4 wins / 18 losses. However, the girls won 2 of their final 3 varsity contests. They also won several JV games down the stretch. Things are looking bright for next year as the entire team will be back. The middle school girls finished the season with 0 wins / 11 losses. These young ladies showed so much spirit and simply had fun. Their numbers were low but energy and enthusiasm was high. The middle school girls also improved so much this year.
Again, thanks to all the coaches, parents, players and fans that supported the Lincoln Lion Basketball Program this season. We appreciate all of your hard work and effort. Go LIONS
